23rd International Film Festival for Corporate Films 2008
The 23rd International Film Festival for Corporate Films in German-Speaking Countries took place in Vienna, Austria, this year. This renowned international competition for audio-visual media from all fields of industry gives companies, producers, public institutions and media agencies the chance to be in the spotlight for their creative excellence. Films are preselected by an international jury and compete in front of the public and the jury for Silver and Golden Victorias and the Grand Prix.
Despite keen competition, Brückner was awarded with a “Victoria in Gold” for the best Corporate Film within the Award Category: Trade Fair/Event Films. The video "Stretching the Limits - A Deeper Insight", an exciting virtual adventure, depicts the production process of a stretching line as never seen before. The film, produced by Sony DADC Austria, was first presented to the public during the K Show 2007 and was highly praised by the international plastics industry.
Through a first-time combination of real film, 3-D animation, interactive features and Sony`s trend-setting Blu-ray technology the film reflects Brückner`s innovative film stretching technologies with this new media breakthrough.
